Action 3: Only Human Waste, Toilet Paper, and Water Down the Toilet. Trash EVERYTHING Else.
Spoiler alert: ‘flushable’ wipes aren’t flushable!
There is rising proof that individuals are disposing of far more than #1, #2, and bathroom paper into their bogs and that is inflicting huge issues for plumbing pipes, sewer traces, wastewater therapy crops, septic tanks, and in the end public water our bodies.
Products marked ‘biodegradable’, ‘made with natural fibers’, ‘flushable’ are NOT okay to flush.
The fibers from these merchandise mix with family oils which can be dumped down drains (and should not be) to create huge, pricey ‘fatbergs’, which block sewers and can result in sewer overflows.
Make certain you trash the whole lot besides human waste and bathroom paper.
